Lady Shani is finally showing fans exactly what happened to her at AAA TripleMania 34, and the damage was pretty hard to miss. After getting pulled from her match and leaving everyone wondering how badly she was hurt, Shani posted new footage revealing the cut above her eye and opened up about how fast her entire night went sideways.
The scary moment happened during the September 11 TripleMania 34 show, where Shani teamed with Jack Cartwheel and Mini Abismo against Adelicious, Mini Vikingo and Mascarita Sagrada in a six-person mixed tag Australian Rules Match. Shani appeared dazed after apparently getting caught during the action, prompting the referee to check on her and immediately get her out of the ring.
Medical personnel continued looking at Shani at ringside while the match kept moving without her. The good news came afterward, when False Finish cited sources saying Shani was doing well and was showing no signs of suffering a concussion.
Now fans are getting a much more personal look at the whole thing. Shani recently posted a video to Instagram showing the day leading up to TripleMania, including an image from the moment she was injured and the cut that opened above her eye. Shani explained that the video was originally supposed to follow her entire day from start to finish, but the injury killed those plans in a hurry.
“I wanted to film my entire day for you, from the moment I woke up through training, food, getting ready… all the way to the end of the show. The idea was to give you a little glimpse of everything that goes on behind those few minutes you see us in the ring.”
Then came the part nobody plans for. Shani admitted the camera stopped rolling because her night ended far earlier than she ever expected.
“But we never know how a match is going to end… and this time, the video ended sooner than I ever imagined too. After this, I wasn’t able to keep filming.”
Shani used the whole ordeal as a reminder that wrestling — and life in general — can flip on you in a second no matter how much you think you have everything mapped out.
“And I think, in a way, that’s also a reflection of life. We can make plans, prepare ourselves, imagine how things are going to turn out… but everything can change in a second. Nothing is written in stone.”
She closed by making it clear she isn’t dwelling on the way TripleMania ended. The injury may have wrecked the night she planned, but she’s treating it like another chapter instead of some disaster she can’t move past.
“All we can do is live, learn, get back up, and keep going. 🤍 This day didn’t end the way I expected, but it’s part of my story too.”
That’s a pretty brutal way for a behind-the-scenes vlog to suddenly turn into an injury diary, but at least the latest signs around Shani are encouraging. She left TripleMania with a nasty cut and a night that ended way too soon, but she’s already talking like somebody who plans on getting back up and moving forward.
