Pretty Deadly may eventually reunite in WWE, but Kit Wilson says fans should not expect the same version of the team if that day comes.

Speaking with SHAK Wrestling, Wilson opened up about the possibility of teaming with Elton Prince again following Prince’s serious neck injury. While Wilson sounded optimistic about the duo evolving in the future, he admitted things would likely look very different compared to the flashy act fans have known for years.

“I think it’ll be a bigger and better Pretty Deadly.”

Wilson continued by explaining that both he and Prince have grown personally and professionally during their time apart.

“I think it’ll be a different Pretty Deadly. I don’t think we fully know what that will be, and I think it will be a more mature Pretty Deadly.”

At the same time, Wilson admitted there are still no guarantees the reunion will actually happen. Prince has been out of action since suffering a serious injury in May 2025. Earlier this year, he revealed he underwent neck fusion surgery after months of trying to figure out exactly what was wrong physically and how to fix it. Because of the severity of the injury, Prince’s WWE future still remains uncertain until he is medically cleared for a full return.

Despite losing his longtime tag team partner, Wilson stayed active on SmackDown throughout 2025 and into 2026 instead of disappearing from television completely. More recently, he has aligned himself with The Miz, including teaming together at WWE Backlash 2026 against Danhausen and his smaller clone.

Wilson also revealed during the interview that Pretty Deadly put a surprising amount of effort into building the team’s lore and backstory over the years. According to him, the duo once spent so much time discussing their characters that John Cena even quizzed them about it at the WWE Performance Center.

Pretty Deadly became one of WWE’s most unique tag teams because of their over-the-top personalities, but Kit Wilson now sounds interested in bringing back a more evolved version of the act if Elton Prince is eventually able to wrestle again.
