Karen Jarrett still hates Dixie Carter, and she just made sure there is absolutely no confusion about why.
While speaking on the My World podcast, Karen was asked about the former TNA president and immediately cracked open years of anger she thought she had already buried. She admitted it was only recently that she realized just how much rage she still carried over what happened to Jeff Jarrett and the people around him.
“The bottom just fell out, kids. We’re in a great place now, but that to me, and I didn’t realize until about six months ago how much rage and hate I still have for that woman, like to the depth that I have for that woman.”
Karen then went straight for the throat, accusing Carter of trying to destroy her husband after Jeff lost control of the company he helped build: “She tried to destroy my husband, but only made us stronger.”
According to Karen, Jeff was not the only one who got burned. She claimed people lost their jobs simply because they were connected to him, turning the fallout into something far uglier than a normal business split.
“Everything happens for a reason. I try to tell myself, and it was all part of God’s plan. But that woman, she caused a lot of pain and a lot of people lost their jobs just for being associated with Jeff Jarrett.”
Conrad Thompson asked whether Karen believed Carter did it on purpose, and Karen did not dance around the answer. She blamed Carter’s ego and called her a “vain, evil woman.”
“Her ego. Absolutely. I think she did it intentionally. I think she is a very vain, evil woman.”
Karen also claimed Carter had no idea how often Jeff protected her from her own decisions while TNA was fighting to stay alive. She said Vince Russo did the same, suggesting the two men repeatedly kept Carter from making even bigger mistakes.
“She has no idea how Jeff protected her from herself for years. How Vince Russo protected her from herself for years.”
By that point, the conversation had moved way beyond one broken relationship. Conrad asked Karen whether Dixie’s overall impact on wrestling had been positive or negative, and her answer was the most brutal line of the entire interview.
“A thousand percent a net f**ing negative.”
That is not frustration. That is scorched earth. Jeff Jarrett helped launch TNA, spent years trying to keep it alive, and eventually watched the company move on without him. Karen clearly believes Dixie made that split personal, punished anyone who stayed close to Jeff, and nearly wrecked far more than his career in the process.
Jeff rebuilt his life, moved on, and found another chapter in wrestling. Karen may be in a better place now too, but after this interview, it is obvious she has not forgotten who she believes tried to tear everything apart.
Do you think Karen Jarrett went too far, or was she justified in finally unloading on Dixie Carter? Let us know in the comments.
