Grayson Waller has no fear of starting a fight with the entire TNA locker room. The NXT Champion mocked the company’s wrestlers and told them to put down their action figures because all they do is complain on social media.
During an appearance on Busted Open After Dark, Bully Ray asked Waller which wrestler who confronted him on NXT could become the biggest threat to his championship. Waller initially brought up Cruz Montana and acknowledged his 20 years of experience. Bully quickly pushed back by reminding Waller that he had already taken a shot at Montana by telling him he was “TNA good.”
“Cruz has 20 years of history, so I don’t think I need to talk about him. He’s shown the world what he can do.”
Bully interrupted and questioned how much respect Waller could really have for Montana after dismissing him with the TNA line.
“You obviously don’t have that much respect for what Cruz Montana has done because you told him, ‘You are good. You’re just TNA good.’”
Waller laughed about the insult before dragging Brian Myers into the conversation. He joked that Myers was probably playing with action figures when he heard TNA get disrespected.
“That’s such a good line, and I know Brian Myers is going to freak out. He was playing with his action figures and went, ‘Hey, that’s where I work.’”
Waller then went after the rest of the TNA locker room and challenged anyone offended by his comments to do more than fire off another post online.
“Put your action figures down, lad, and do something about it. All these little dweebs in TNA—what are you going to do? All you do is tweet. I ain’t stressed about you. Let’s not worry about that company.”
Waller didn’t stop with TNA. Later in the conversation, he insisted that NXT may have to raid another promotion just to find someone capable of taking the NXT Championship from him.
“I’m going to run through these guys. They’re going to have to find someone else. They’re going to have to raid TNA. They’re going to have to find some indie flop who’s taller than five-foot-six, which is very difficult to find. Maybe they can find some Japanese guy who hits hard. You’re going to have to delve deep into the trenches to find someone who can take my championship.”
Waller may have started by insulting Cruz Montana, but he finished by putting the entire TNA roster in his crosshairs. If anyone there wants to answer him, Waller clearly isn’t interested in reading another tweet—he wants them to show up and do something about it.
