Jordynne Grace still hasn’t returned to WWE television, but she’s clearly been keeping herself busy. While fans continue waiting to see when she’ll be back on SmackDown, Grace surprised everyone by revealing she’d been secretly preparing for something completely different.

Grace has been absent from WWE TV for months, with reports suggesting she’s been caught in the numbers game after SmackDown returned to two hours. More recently, reports indicated WWE has discussed pairing her with Ivy Nile, with creative even filming vignettes for a potential team reportedly connected to the “Iron Built” trademark.

While those plans remain up in the air, Grace has been focusing on something away from wrestling. Grace took to Instagram and revealed that she’d spent the last four weeks secretly preparing for a bodybuilding competition. In fact, she kept it so quiet that she didn’t even tell her husband she was competing until earlier in the week.

“Spent the past four weeks prepping in secret. Didn’t even tell my husband I was competing until earlier this week. But we made it back on stage.”

Grace explained that winning wasn’t the reason she entered the competition. Instead, she said she wanted to reconnect with herself after spending months away from WWE television.

“I didn’t come to win this one. I just needed a reminder of who I am. (But if I win, I’ll definitely let yall know 🤣).”

Whether Grace’s WWE return comes as part of a new tag team with Ivy Nile or in another role entirely is still unknown. For now, though, she’s proving that even while she’s away from television, she’s still finding ways to challenge herself.
