Jasmin St. Claire isn’t dancing around how she feels about Janel Grant anymore. After Grant said she is still physically and financially broken following years of turmoil, St. Claire jumped onto Twitter with a brutal message aimed squarely at her: “STOP MOCKING REAL LIFE VICTIMS.”
The shot came after Ringside News shared Grant’s latest comments about trying to rebuild her life. Grant recently said during her 2026 Advocacy in Action Award speech that nearly every part of her life had been wrecked, including her health, finances, stability and support system, before summing up where she is now by saying, “Everything from my bones to my bank account is still broken.”
St. Claire clearly wasn’t buying the sympathy angle. She fired off the all-caps message shortly after engaging with Ringside News’ coverage, making it crystal clear that she does not believe Grant should be positioning herself as a voice for survivors.
“STOP MOCKING REAL LIFE VICTIMS”
That wasn’t St. Claire’s only shot either. In another reply directed at Ringside News, she went after Grant’s financial comments and accused her of ruining an alleged arrangement by speaking publicly.
“Broke? I’m sure that’s far from the truth. All you had to do was shut your mouth, but you didn’t. He started talking about the arrangement and that’s why he stopped paying.”
St. Claire then pushed things even further, saying Grant should have kept quiet if her personal struggles were really as serious as she claims.
“If you really had all these issues, you’d just shut your fucking mouth and go about your life.”
Those are St. Claire’s accusations, and she did not provide evidence in those posts to back up what she was claiming about Grant, Vince McMahon or any alleged payment arrangement. What she did make perfectly clear is that she does not believe Grant’s public presentation of herself as a survivor.
Grant’s comments came after Ringside News published footage from her September 11 speech, where she talked openly about the damage she says she has been living with. Grant later said a recent accident left her with a concussion, broken ribs and facial injuries, adding another ugly chapter to an already brutal stretch of her life.
Her federal case against Vince McMahon and WWE was later dismissed so the dispute could move into private arbitration. That dismissal did not mean Grant withdrew her allegations, and it did not amount to McMahon or WWE admitting wrongdoing.
Grant has also continued doing survivor advocacy work, including efforts tied to NDA reform that led to her being recognized by the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence. That’s part of what makes St. Claire’s “STOP MOCKING REAL LIFE VICTIMS” message so explosive — she isn’t just questioning Grant’s story, she’s directly attacking the entire way Grant has been presenting herself publicly.
There’s no subtlety here. Grant says she’s still trying to piece her life back together, while St. Claire is basically saying she doesn’t believe the victim narrative at all and wants her to stop using it.
