Tommy Dreamer’s TNA exit keeps getting messier because now another wrestler is stepping forward with a story that makes the whole situation look even uglier.
Indie wrestler Dani Jordyn took to Twitter and claimed Dreamer once insisted on doing a crotch grab spot to her during a tag match where he was only filling in. Jordyn said the spot had no place in the storyline, and she made it clear she was uncomfortable with it.
“I’ve been waiting for this – One time Tommy dreamer insisted on doing a crotch grab spot, to me, in a tag match he was a fill in for. This had NO place in our story line. But he didn’t care to ask. I did not want to do this, said how uncomfortable I was, but I’m just woman, right”
That is the latest story to surface after Dreamer’s June 17 TNA exit. Michael Elgin already defended Dreamer, saying he personally saw him be helpful to talent, but the wave of claims from others is still growing.
“I can’t speak on what some are claiming Dreamer said to them. All I can say is I have never personally seen Dreamer be anything but helpful to talent. He was also very supportive of me when the issues with TNA arose, but he wasn’t in a top role then.”
Dreamer has also been called out by Referee Perch, who claimed Dreamer once told him backstage at a TNA show that he would make sure he never got a job in wrestling. Carlie Bravo also alleged Dreamer said he was talented but did not know how to market him as a “cocky black guy.”
Kennedi Copeland also shared her own story, claiming she once wanted to take a cane shot in a match with Dreamer, but he allegedly said he did not do that with women and they ended up doing a spanking spot instead. Copeland later said she was young, impressionable, and did not feel like she could say no to a veteran.
So, this is no longer just about Tommy Dreamer leaving TNA wrestling. His exit has turned into open season for people sharing what they say happened when he had influence in wrestling spaces.
At the end of the day, Dani Jordyn’s accusation only turns the heat up more. Dreamer hasn’t publicly responded to her claim as of this writing, but the conversation around his TNA departure is clearly getting uglier by the day.
