Andrade El Idolo didn’t just debut new entrance music at AEW Redemption—he also gave wrestling fans another mystery to solve. After making his entrance alongside four unidentified women before capturing the AEW National Championship, social media immediately got to work trying to figure out who they were. Turns out, fans didn’t have to wait very long.
The four women accompanying Andrade have now been identified as independent wrestlers Dreya Mitchell, Tara Zep, Katrina Creed and Kristara, all of whom have competed for promotions including Mystery Wrestling, NCG, Premier Wrestling and several other independent companies.
The reveal continues what’s quietly become one of Andrade’s signature gimmicks in AEW. Almost every time Andrade appears with an unidentified woman, fans immediately turn into internet detectives, racing to uncover her identity before AEW says a word. More often than not, the mystery is solved within hours.
By now, the list has grown pretty long. Earlier this month, Ava Everett revealed she was the mystery woman Andrade posed for a selfie with on Dynamite after fans spent hours trying to identify her. Before that, independent wrestlers Rachel Ley, Emily Jaye, Amaris Blair, Tiara James, Vile, Selena Hekate, Rebel Kel and Johnnie Robbie all found themselves at the center of similar online detective work after appearing alongside El Idolo. The only difference this time? Instead of one mystery woman, Andrade gave fans four.
While Andrade’s victory over Mark Davis made him the new AEW National Champion, his entrance ended up creating almost as much hype as the title change itself. Judging by the speed with which fans identified all four women, it’s safe to say Andrade’s mystery entrance companions have become one of AEW’s most unexpected recurring games.
