Andrade El Idolo has done it again as he took a selfie with yet another mystery woman this week.
If it feels like AEW fans have started treating Andrade’s segments like a weekly detective game, that’s because they basically have. Every time he appears alongside a mystery woman, social media immediately goes to work trying to figure out who she is—and this week didn’t take long at all.
During the July 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, Andrade picked up a win over Jake Doyle. After the match, he headed to ringside and stopped to pose for a selfie with a woman in the crowd before continuing on his way.
AEW never identified her on the broadcast but she identified herself. Independent wrestler Ava Everett took to her Instagram Story shortly after Dynamite aired and confirmed that she was the woman featured in Andrade’s segment, ending the online speculation almost as quickly as it started.
Everett has been making her name on the independent wrestling scene, competing for promotions including WXW The World Is Yours, 907 ARI5EN, GWP, and several others as she continues to build her career. By now, this has become something of a running theme with Andrade’s presentation in AEW.
Just days ago, independent wrestler Rachel Ley revealed that she was the mystery woman featured alongside Andrade during his yacht vignette on AEW Collision after fans spent hours trying to identify her. Before that, names such as Emily Jaye, Amaris Blair, Tiara James, Vile, Selena Hekate, Rebel Kel, and Johnnie Robbie all found themselves in the same position after appearing in Andrade’s television segments.
At this point, it almost feels like an unofficial tradition. Andrade appears with an unidentified woman, AEW leaves viewers guessing, social media starts digging, and within hours another independent wrestler gets to reveal she was the one sharing the screen with El Idolo. This week, that focus belonged to Ava Everett.
