WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg just took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and the cold hit him like a spear.

The WWE Hall of Famer posted the video on Instagram after being challenged by former teammate Tim Green. Goldberg said he was doing it for Green and Chris Johnson, then braced himself as the bucket came down. He was not ready.

“Goldberg here. Welcome to the 2026 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I got challenged by former teammate Tim Green. Tim, obviously I’d do anything for you and Chris Johnson, so here we go. God, Jesus! OOOOH!”

Goldberg immediately started yelling once the freezing water hit, but he still managed to finish the job and pass the challenge along before the shock wore off.

“Okay! I challenge Deion Sanders, Gage Goldberg, and the entire Colorado Buffaloes football team. God! Oh, you got me!”

That is a pretty loaded callout. Goldberg did not just tag one person. He went after Deion Sanders, his own son Gage, and the entire Colorado football team, which means there could be a whole lot more ice flying around Boulder very soon.

The video comes after Seth Rollins and former NFL linebacker Manti Te’o also took part in the challenge for Johnson, with the pair calling out Kyle Brandt. That helped keep the campaign moving, but Goldberg’s reaction may be the loudest one yet.

The whole point of the challenge is to raise awareness for ALS, and Goldberg made sure the cause stayed front and center even while he was getting absolutely wrecked by the cold. He came in looking calm, took one bucket to the head, and left half the Colorado Buffaloes roster on notice. Now the question is whether Deion, Gage, and the team actually answer.
