Sophie Rain’s TMZ Inside the Ring interview completely fell apart after host Branson Quirke pitched her a WWE storyline based on sleeping with wrestlers backstage. Rain eventually walked out—but not before throwing her bag at Quirke twice and nearly going after him as he fell off the sofa.
The whole thing started innocently enough when Rain said she would be open to WWE and picked babyface when asked what kind of character she would play. That’s when Quirke suggested something considerably different based on her OnlyFans career.
“I just think like, you know, based on what you do, I would assume you’d probably be like one of the women’s wrestlers backstage that maybe like a character who like kind of like, like, you know, sleeps with the wrestlers backstage or something like that.”
Even Quirke’s co-host pushed back on that one, and Rain clearly didn’t appreciate where the conversation had gone. She questioned why he would say something like that before challenging him to box.
“What are you even talking about? Why would you say that? It sounds like you want to get in the ring with me. Like, let’s box.”
Quirke didn’t stop there. The conversation moved to Rain publicly saying she’s a virgin, and he openly questioned whether his co-host actually believed her.
“Are you saying, like, is this the virgin thing? Like she says that she’s a virgin and you believe her? Like, come on.”
That was enough for Rain to ask whether he was straight-up calling her a liar. When Quirke continued trying to “call her out,” she decided to return the favor and went directly after his appearance.
“What are you talking about? Are you calling me a liar?”
“Like, you literally had to go get a transplant because you’re so chopped. Like, that hair is fake. Like, I don’t even know why the f*** I’m here.”
Rain was pretty much done by that point. She called Quirke rude, questioned why she was even there and made it clear she wasn’t going to sit through any more of it.
“You’re being so rude for no reason, and like—look at you. Like, look at you and then look at me. Okay? Like, I’m not doing this.”
Quirke told her she could leave, and that’s when the interview really went off the rails. Rain got up, flung her bag at him twice and appeared ready to go after him, with Quirke falling off the sofa during the chaos.
A conversation about Rain possibly joining WWE somehow ended with one of the hosts on the floor. Whatever Rain’s wrestling future looks like, Quirke certainly found out she wasn’t going to sit there quietly while he took shots at her.
