Jey Uso’s divorce news didn’t stay in the courtroom for long. It eventually made its way to his entrance music, and that’s where fans decided to have some fun.

Not long after news broke that Jey and Takecia Fatu are divorcing after 12 years of marriage, fans started flooding the official WWE Music YouTube upload of his entrance theme, Main Event Ish, with jokes aimed directly at his personal life.

One fan looked at the title of the song and couldn’t resist: “This theme aged well. #Divorced.” Another joked that Jey had gone from being one of WWE’s biggest stars right back to square one.

“And now back to being a lackey.”

Then, fans noticed one particular lyric that suddenly hit a lot differently. One comment pointed people to the 0:08 mark of the song, where the lyrics say, “It’s just me, Uce.” After the divorce news, plenty of fans saw the timing as ironic.

“Jey after the announcement of his divorce 0:08.”

The jokes started after news surfaced that Takecia Fatu had filed for divorce, ending a marriage that began in 2014. Court documents show the couple shares one minor son, with Takecia seeking primary physical custody along with child support, spousal support, exclusive use of the family home, and attorney’s fees.

Jey didn’t stay completely silent once the news got out. Instead of releasing a lengthy statement, he took to Instagram Stories with Ice Cube’s It Was A Good Day playing over a black screen before posting two short messages.

“I’m a grown ass man. And leave her TF out of it too, lames.”

So, whether the comments are harmless jokes or fans taking things too far will depend on who you ask, but one thing is pretty clear: once Jey’s divorce became public, wrestling fans started looking at even his entrance music through a completely different lens.
