Jey Uso didn’t wait long to send a message after news of his divorce case hit, and he kept it short, blunt, and very Jey.
After court documents tied to his split from Takecia Fatu surfaced, Jey posted to Instagram Stories with a black screen and Ice Cube’s “It Was A Good Day” playing in the background. He did not mention the divorce directly, but the timing made the post impossible to ignore. His first message was simple.
“I’m a grown ass man.”
That wasn’t all. At the bottom of the story, Jey added another line that appeared to be aimed at fans dragging another woman into the situation. He did not name Jaida Parker, but fans have been bringing her up online due to speculation about his personal life.
“And leave her TF out of it too, lames.”
The post came after Ringside News obtained the court docket connected to Jey’s divorce case. The docket lists Takecia Fatu as the plaintiff and Joshua Fatu as the defendant, with Judge Benjamin D. Coker assigned to the case. The filings were processed on June 24, 2026.
Takecia filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. She listed their marriage date as February 13, 2014, and stated that the marriage was done. The filing also says the couple shares one minor son, Jeyce, born in 2012, while their other son is already over 18.
Takecia is asking for primary physical custody of their minor child, while being open to joint legal custody. She is also asking for exclusive use of their Georgia home, child support, spousal support, and attorney fees.
Jey has not released a full statement about the divorce case as of this writing. Still, this Instagram Story is his first public reaction since the news came out, and it sure looks like he is tired of people putting extra names into his personal business.
For now, Jey Uso is still doing his thing on WWE television while the divorce case moves forward in court. Outside the ring, he just made it clear that he does not want fans speaking for him or dragging anyone else into it.
