Chelsea Green deleted Twitter after getting dragged into a political mess, but judging by her latest Instagram post, she isn’t exactly sitting around miserable about it.

After deactivating her Twitter account following backlash over her MAGA denial, Green popped up on Instagram and basically told everyone her week went just fine. She shared a photo of herself out to dinner with her husband Matt Cardona, looking like she was enjoying life away from the chaos. Then she added the caption that made the whole thing feel like a victory lap.

“Spent time with family, ate good food, invited friends over, touched grass & deleted X 💟 Successful week, I’d say!”

That last part was the kicker. Green didn’t write some long explanation about leaving Twitter, and she didn’t sound like she was begging for sympathy. She framed deleting the platform as one more good thing she did during a pretty solid week.

The post came after Green shut down a fake claim that she was MAGA. A hater had accused her of being MAGA while calling her “trash,” and Green fired back by making her politics clear.

“why did it take finding out chelsea green was MAGA for n*** to admit she was trash”

Green responded by saying fans can criticize her looks or her wrestling, but she wasn’t going to let anyone lie about her political views.

“I can handle you saying things about my looks or my talent but what you won’t do is spread lies about my political views. Since you’re so interested in spreading misinformation, here are the facts:

– I am a Canadian citizen

– I can’t vote in America

– I am not MAGA

– I am a liberal / democrat

– When I become a citizen, I will vote for a president who believes in equal human rights”

That should have ended it, but wrestling Twitter did what wrestling Twitter does. The backlash and harassment kept coming, and Green eventually deactivated her account.

So, Chelsea Green may be done with Twitter for now, but she clearly isn’t letting the backlash ruin her life offline. If anything, her Instagram post made it look like she touched grass, ate well, deleted the app, and moved right along.
