Bron Breakker wasted no time bragging about the damage done to Oba Femi. During the opening segment of the September 7, 2026 episode of WWE RAW, Breakker addressed what happened at Sunday Night’s Main Event and revealed that Oba is now not cleared to compete.
Breakker made it clear that the beating Oba took wasn’t just for show, telling the crowd that the former NXT Champion is currently unable to get back in the ring.
“Oba Femi is not cleared to compete.”
The update comes one night after Bronson Reed made his surprise WWE return during Oba’s match against Breakker. Oba appeared to have Breakker in trouble before Reed stormed the ring and blasted him with a steel chair, causing the match to end by disqualification.
Reed then took things much further. He hit Oba with a Tsunami before embracing Breakker, confirming that the two were back together. Breakker followed with another spear while Reed continued crushing Oba with more Tsunamis as officials struggled to stop the attack.
The return ended more than six months on the sidelines for Reed after he tore the distal biceps in his right arm during the February 23 episode of RAW and underwent surgery. Reed had also recently been spotted at WWE Headquarters as his comeback drew closer.
Ringside News previously noted that Reed was expected back on RAW sometime in September, while WWE had also discussed a potential program between Reed and Oba Femi for later in the year.
Now Breakker is claiming Oba Femi has been knocked out of action, while Reed is back at his side after making one of the nastiest returns WWE has pulled off in months. Oba may have walked into Sunday Night’s Main Event looking for a win, but he walked out with a much bigger problem.
