The viewership numbers for the May 1st episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS have been released and this will certainly lead to a lot of discussions among fans once again.

According to Dave Meltzer, the May 1st edition of AEW Dynamite drew 703,000 viewers and achieved rating of 0.24 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. This is an increase from last week’s show, which got 683,000 viewers and demo rating of 0.23 as well.

In contrast to its usual Friday slot, Rampage aired live immediately after and garnered 431,000 viewers with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This marked a 47% increase from the preceding Rampage following Collision, which drew 293,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the same demographic.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Swerve Strickland beginning a feud with Christian Cage, The Elite destroying Kenny Omega to close out the show and even more incidents.
