Ilja Dragunov Warns Future Challengers They Will Face Nightmares After 2024 WWE NXT Stand & Deliver

Ilja Dragunov has been on a roll as the NXT Champion and he has been able to topple all of his adversaries over the past several months. After NXT Stand & Deliver, he sent a warning to his future challengers.

Ilja Dragunov and Tony D’Angelo had been embroiled in a heated feud for the past few weeks, leading to an NXT Title showdown at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 6th. Fans were eagerly anticipating seeing what The Don could bring against Dragunov.

True to expectations, Dragunov and D’Angelo delivered a compelling and physically intense matchup, with both wrestlers leaving it all in the ring. Ultimately, Dragunov emerged victorious, successfully retaining his title.

WWE NXT took to their official Twitter account and uploaded a backstage video of Ilja Dragunov, where he sent a warning to his future opponents, promising that facing him would be nothing short of a nightmare.

“This is a fighting business, and after this bout, I have nothing but respect for Tony D’Angelo. However, at this stage of my career, there’s no one who could even come close to my level. My defense is impeccable, my attacks are unstoppable, and my will is unmatched. From here on out, any opponent who steps up will find themselves in nothing but a nightmare.”

Ilja Dragunov’s commanding performance has firmly established him as the reigning force in NXT, demonstrating that there’s currently no one capable of dethroning the dragon.
