Ilja Dragunov Retains WWE NXT Championship Title at 2024 Stand & Deliver

Ilja Dragunov has ascended to become the emblematic figure of the WWE NXT brand, solidifying his status as the reigning NXT Champion since clinching the title at No Mercy 2023. He put his title on the line at NXT Stand & Deliver and fans were excited throughout.

Ilja Dragunov and Tony D’Angelo had been engaged in a feud for the past few weeks which culminated in an NXT Title match at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 6th, as fans were looking forward to seeing what The Don could do against Dragunov.

As expected, Ilja Dragunov and Tony D’Angelo put on a solid and physical matchup, as both competitors gave it their all to win the bout. When all was said and done, it was Dragunov who prevailed and successfully retained his title.

Ilja Dragunov’s sheer dominance has proven that there is no one who can take out the dragon at the moment. We will have to wait and see who will step up to the plate and challenge Dragunov next.
