Countdown To WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday Kickoff Pre-Show (4/6/2024):

The Countdown to WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us as they show us several shots of Philadelphia. The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch were all then shown getting ready and arriving to the venue. We then get a WrestleMania XL hype video with Meek Mill and a ton of people were then shown outside the stadium behind the kickoff pre-show panel.

Michael Cole is joined by Pat McAfee, CM Punk and Big E and Punk says you can’t have WrestleMania in Philadelphia without Phil, then he jokes about how he started to drink alcohol. We then get a video package for tonight’s main event and Jackie Redmond recaps everything the Bloodline had going on while standing outside their dressing room. Byron Saxton is then shown standing outside of Cody Rhodes’ tour bus and Rhodes tells Saxton that tonight is the most important match of his career. Kayla Braxton then speaks about everything that is on Seth Rollins’ plate this weekend.

We are then shown clips of WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s interview from earlier in the day, where he talked about how it’s a big WrestleMania and why it’s important to run WrestleMania under TKO. Triple H says that it has allowed them to think outside the box. Triple H then confesses that things changed when The Rock came in and there needed to be a blend with reality after fans reacted the way they did as The Rock had to change things after fans reacted negatively to him facing Roman Reigns. CM Punk then says he sometimes made a mistake when he left and he maybe should have stayed. Big E then says everything has changed in WWE with even AJ cursing. CM Punk then jokes about how he has heard AJ cursing, but Big E says he meant Styles and not Lee. Punk then calls Triple H a great coach who has assembled a great team. Cole then agrees and says they love to work for him.

We then see clips of “Main Event” Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso arriving at the arena earlier today separately and we get a video package on the brother vs. brother matchup. Big E says he was proud of Jey Uso and Punk compared the match to Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart.

Peter Rosenberg was then shown at a bar with Braun Strowman.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Sami Zayn. Zayn admits he was nervous, but it wasn’t self-doubt. Zayn then says he has the kind of nerves that come when you are ready to go to war. Zayn then says he plans on using those nerves and was ready for war. Redmond then wishes Zayn luck.

We then head back to the panel, where Pat McAfee mentions Rhodes’ bus catching fire. McAfee then says the only things Rhodes grabbed from his bus were his dog and his wrestling boots. The panel then jokingly wondered if someone should be accused of causing the fire. McAfee then says he didn’t want to get sued and Punk notes that he knew nothing about getting sued. The panel then talk about how GUNTHER vs. Sami Zayn is similar to the Rocky Balboa movie franchise.

We then see clips of the teams involved in the 6-Pack Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Stratus starts off by calling Becky Lynch the best that she has ever stepped into the ring with. Stratus then calls Rhea Ripley unstoppable and says she doesn’t know if Lynch could overcome her. Kelley then asks Stratus if we will see her in the ring again and she says, “You never know.”

Kayla Braxton then interviews WWE Hall of Famer JBL and he puts over WrestleMania before saying he has always known Rey Mysterio was a deadbeat dad. JBL then puts over Dominik Mysterio. Tom Rinaldi is then standing on the massive entrance ramp inside Lincoln Financial Field to introduce the next video package and we then see the kid and the NFL star standing near the ring being interviewed.

Jackie Redmond and Wade Barrett then replaces Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on the panel and we see Cathy Kelley interview “Señor Money In The Bank” Damian Priest and Finn Bálor. Priest was pissed and says nobody could beat them so they kept stacking the odds against them. Bálor then says they could keep stacking them up and they would keep knocking them down.

We then head back to the panel, where Big E admits he is cheering for R-Truth in the 6-Pack Ladder Match despite the New Day being in it. Big E then says Truth almost lost his leg and we don’t talk about him enough. We then see Byron Saxton on the entrance ramp with representatives from the Philadelphia Eagles’ Fly Forward, Yeah Philly and The Lighthouse organizations.

Big E then puts over Jazz and Jacqueline for paving the way for Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then joins the panel to speak about signing Jade Cargill and we get a WrestleMania I video package. Cathy Kelley then interviews Natalya who was most looking forward to Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso. Kayla Braxton then interviews Santos Escobar and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. They talk about how they didn’t care for Andrade and how they wanted to eradicate Rey Mysterio.

We then get a video package for the main event and we take a look at last night’s WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Redmond asks what do they want to talk about. Redmond then asks if they thought they would be working together. Cody says with their history, they share an understanding of what the Bloodline running WWE would mean. Seth then says Cody was close to winning last year and now it is worse because of the Rock. Seth then asks what did he have to do.

Jackie then asks about Seth’s history with Dusty. Seth says Dusty believed in him when no one else did. Seth also says Dusty was the first person in WWE who told him to be himself and he was under Dusty’s learning tree. Jackie then asks what would Dusty think about them as a team. Cody then says to see the first NXT champion, someone Dusty believed in, he would be proud to see his fingerprints all over WWE in 2024.

Jackie then asks about what happened in Chicago. Cody says that was embarrassing. Cody then wonders what would happen in a fair fight between them. Jackie then asks Seth about Brooklyn. Seth says they underestimate what they are dealing with. Seth then says he knows Roman better than anyone and he has had Roman’s number at every step and that complacency will bite him in the ass.

Cody then says Rock hasn’t wrestled in 12 years and he got injured in that match. Cody then says Roman has depended on the Bloodline to retain his championship and to bet on them tonight. Jackie then asks what happens on Sunday if they don’t win tonight. Cody then says it was a Bloodline Rules Match last year and it can’t be anything other than a win tonight. Seth then says he is with Cody and they have to win.

We then hear loud “CM Punk” chants from the crowd and the panel then discusses tonight’s main event. Corey Graves is then shown making his way down to the ring followed by Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque is then shown walking around Lincoln Financial Field as the WrestleMania XL Kickoff Pre-Show comes to a close.

WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday Results (4/6/2024):

WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday opens up with a new signature video narrated by Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Michael Cole then welcomes us inside Lincoln Financial Field and we get a video package narrated by Philly hip-hop star Meek Mill.

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and “The Man” Becky Lynch are then shown warming up and Coco Jones sings the U.S. national anthem.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque then makes his way down to the ring and says “Welcome to a new time, a new era, welcome to WrestleMania!”

We then get the entrances of the first match of the evening, which is the WWE Women’s World Championship Match.

WWE Women’s World Championship Match: The Judgment Day’s “Mami” Rhea Ripley (c) vs. “The Man” Becky Lynch

The match starts off with Ripley tossing Lynch across the ring. Lynch and Ripley then trade strikes and Lynch ends up on the apron. Ripley then runs into a kick and Lynch follows that up with a missile dropkick. Ripley then rolls out of the ring and Lynch goes for a baseball slide, but Lynch gets caught and Ripley drops her on the apron. Ripley then sends Lynch back into the ring. Ripley then hits a Northern Lights suplex on Lynch and gets a two count. Ripley then attempts to suplex Lynch, but Lynch reverses it into a small package. Ripley then rolls through and hits a suplex on Lynch, but Lynch kicks out. Ripley then hits a dropkick on Lynch. Lynch then struggles to get on her feet and Ripley goes up top. Lynch follows Ripley and sends Ripley flying with an arm drag. Lynch then hits Ripley with a tornado DDT, but Ripley kicks out.

Ripley then hits a draping leg drop on Lynch and Ripley falls out of the ring. Lynch then sends Ripley into the barricade with an exploder. Lynch then hits Ripley with a leg drop off the second rope, but only gets a two count. Lynch then jumps off the top rope, but gets caught by Ripley. Ripley then drops Lynch and hits Lynch with a running knee for a two count. Ripley then goes for her Riptide finisher, but Lynch counters with an arm breaker, then transitions that into an armbar. Ripley then gets to her feet and lifts Lynch in the air, then hits her with three consecutive powerbombs, but Lynch kicks out. Ripley then hits a headbutt on Lynch, but Lynch kicks Ripley’s arm. Ripley then immediately responds with a big boot and Lynch kicks out again, but Ripley is favoring her arm.

Ripley then reverses a clothesline by Lynch into a Riptide, but Lynch kicks out. Ripley then goes up top, but Lynch crotches Ripley. Lynch then hits a superplex on Ripley and immediately transitions into the Dis-Arm-Her. Ripley then lifts Lynch on her shoulders and both women fall over the top rope. Ripley then lands on her feet with Lynch on her shoulders. Ripley then hits Lynch with an electric chair drop. Ripley then hits a frog splash on Lynch, but Lynch kicks out. Lynch then goes for a Manhandle slam off the top rope, but Ripley lands on her feet and hits then Riptide on Lynch on the top turnbuckle. Ripley then hits Lynch with another Riptide to secure the win.

The winner and still the WWE Women’s World Champion, “Mami” Rhea Ripley!

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match, which is an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship 6-Pack Ladder Match.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship 6-Pack Ladder Match: The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and “Señor” Money In The Bank” Damian Priest (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) vs. New Catch Republic (“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne and “The Big Strong Boy” Tyler Bate)

The match starts off with all 6 teams brawling. The ring then clears and Waller and Theory then set up ladders in the ring and start to climb. The remaining competitors then return to the ring and everyone fights over the ladders. Woods and Kingston then push the other two ladders and start to climb. Bálor and Priest then cuts Woods and Kingston off and Priest tosses a ladder at Waller. Bálor then grabs a ladder, but Bate picks Bálor up and airplane spins him and the ladder. Kingston then enters the ring and gets hit with the ladder. Bate then slams Bálor on a ladder and Bate and Dunne then hit stereo moonsaults off the ladders onto their opponents. Dunne then climbs the ladder and Priest powerbombs Bate into Dunne and onto the ladder.

Priest and Bálor then beats Miz down and Truth hops on the apron and begs for Miz to tag him and Miz does. Truth then clears the ring and hits the five moves of doom on Bálor. Truth then hits the AA on Bálor on a ladder and pins him. Miz then tells Truth he has to climb the ladder. Priest then breaks this up and gets hit with Awesome Truth’s finisher. Gargano then tunes up the band and hits a superkick on Priest. Ciampa then follows that up with a modified Pedigree. Ciampa and Gargano then square up with Truth and Miz. Truth then tells #DIY to grab one set of titles and they will grab the other and Gargano and Ciampa agree. Before they can grab the titles, Theory and Waller break it up and pull down the SmackDown Tag Team Titles and are announced as the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Theory and Waller then try to go after the RAW Tag Team Titles as well, but Bate and Dunne hit a powerbomb on Waller through a ladder out of the ring. Kingston then lays Ciampa on a ladder, which is balanced against another ladder and the ropes. Woods then hits the Limit Break Elbow on Ciampa on the ladder. Kingston and Woods then climbs a ladder and Kingston jumps off the top and hits the trust fall on everyone outside the ring. Theory then stops Woods and The New Catch Republic stops Waller. Gargano then hits the One Final Beat off the apron through a table on Dunne. Ciampa then hits an air raid crash on Bate off the top of a ladder. Truth is the only man left standing. Truth then sets up and climbs a ladder. JD McDonagh then appears out of nowhere and pulls Truth off the ladder and hits him with The Devil inside. McDonagh then helps Bálor climb the ladder. The New Day then cut them off. Kingston and Woods then send McDonagh off the ladder through a table. Priest then climbs the ladder, but Miz cuts Priest off. Priest then tosses Miz off the ladder. Truth then pulls Priest off the ladder and sends him out of the ring with an AA. Truth then climbs the ladder and pulls down the RAW Tag Team Championships for the win and Awesome Truth are announced as the new RAW Tag Team Champions.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: LWO (WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Andrade) vs. Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar and The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

The match starts off with Rey Mysterio sending Escobar flying with a hurricanrana. Escobar then tags in Dominik and Rey Mysterio tags in Andrade. Andrade then nails Dominik with a feint elbow. Andrade and Rey Mysterio then clear the ring. Rey Mysterio then sits on Andrade’s shoulders and they hit a stacked crossbody on Dominik and Escobar. Dominik then sends Rey flying out of the ring. Escobar and Dominik then work over Rey. Mysterio then hits Escobar with a code red. Rey Mysterio then tags Andrade in and Andrade nails Dominik and Escobar with dragon screw leg whips. Andrade then hits running double knees.

Andrade then hits a double jump moonsault. Rey Mysterio then tags in and hits a seated senton off the top rope to Escobar. Mysterio then hits a 619, but Lopez gets on the apron. Vega then pulls Lopez off the apron and hits a moonsault off the second rope. Wilde then gets launched off the second rope onto Legado. Two large men then hop the barricade, wearing Mysterio masks. Both men then attack Dominik and toss him back into the ring. Andrade then hits The Message on Dominik and Rey Mysterio hits a splash on Escobar for the win.

After the match, the two masked men take off their mask to reveal themselves to be Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is the brother vs. brother Singles Match.

Singles Match (Brother vs. Brother): “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso

The match starts off with Jey hitting a dive on Jimmy before Jimmy even makes it to the ring. Jey then beats Jimmy all over ringside. Jey then hits a crossbody on Jimmy, but Jimmy kicks out. Jimmy then hits a pop-up Samoan drop on Jey. Jimmy then nails Jey with two running hip attacks. Jimmy then works over Jey and nails Jey with one superkick after the other.

Jimmy then misses a splash, but lands on his feet. Jey then hits a superkick on Jimmy. Jimmy and Jey then trade strikes while the crowd chants Yeet and No Yeet with each strike. Jey and Jimmy then have a stare down before unloading on each other with rights and lefts. Jey then hits a superkick on Jimmy and Jimmy answers back with a superkick of his own. Jey then hits another superkick on Jimmy and Jimmy ends up in the corner. Jey then hits a running superkick on Jimmy and looks for a basement superkick, but Jimmy puts up his hands. Jey then pulls back and Jimmy puts out his hand and tells Jey he’s sorry. Jimmy then begs Jey for forgiveness. Jey then grabs Jimmy’s hand and helps him up. Jimmy then hits a superkick on Jey. Jimmy then hits the Uso Splash on Jey, but Jey kicks out. Jimmy then goes for another superkick, but Jey counters with a Spear. Jey then hits a twisting Uso Splash on Jimmy for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, “Main Event” Jey Uso!

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a 6-Woman Tag Team Match.

6-Woman Tag Team Match: Jade Cargill, “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai)

The match starts off with Sane and Asuka trying to double team Naomi. Naomi then clotheslines both women. Naomi then hits a split leg drop, but Sane kicks out. Sane then hits an InSANE elbow on a standing Naomi outside of the ring. Asuka and Sane then continue to work over Naomi. Naomi then manages to tag Belair in and Belair clears the ring. Belair then hits a suplex on Sane. Belair then hits a press slam on Sane off the top rope onto Asuka and Kai. Belair then hits a press on all three members of Damage CTRL, but they all kick out.

Kai, Sane and Asuka then triple teams Belair. Belair then manages to tag Cargill in. Asuka and Sane are then stopped in their tracks and Cargill clears the ring. Cargill then hits a modified Michinoku Driver on Kai, but Sane and Asuka break up the pin. Sane then holds Belair and Asuka tries the mist Belair, but Belair ducks and the mist blinds Sane. Belair then whips Asuka with her hair. Naomi then hits the Bubba Bomb on Sane. Belair then hits the KOD on Asuka. Kai then tries to hit a wheelbarrow on Cargill, but Cargill reverses it into her Jaded finisher for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see Sami Zayn embrace his wife and his son. Zayn then asks his wife to keep their son in the back because he didn’t want him watching this. Chad Gable then meets with Zayn. Zayn was thinking Gable will go with him to ringside, but Gable says Zayn will get this done on his own. Zayn and Gable then shakes hands. As Zayn was on his way to Gorilla, he was met by Kevin Owens. Owens then pushes Zayn, gives him a hug and tells him to go do this.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Imperium’s “The Ring General” GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn

The match starts off with GUNTHER backing Zayn into the corner. GUNTHER then pulls back for a chop and Zayn covers up. GUNTHER then laughs and Zayn chops GUNTHER. GUNTHER then hits Zayn with a nasty chop and Zayn tries to fire back, but GUNTHER puts Zayn down with a European uppercut. GUNTHER then places Zayn on the top rope and chokes him out with his boot.

As Zayn’s wife looks on from the crowd, GUNTHER continues working over Zayn. Zayn then hits GUNTHER with a lariat. GUNTHER then delivers another nasty chop on Zayn. Zayn then responds with a series of chops of his own. Zayn then hits a half-nelson suplex on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER gets to his feet. Zayn then hits another half-nelson suplex on GUNTHER and GUNTHER nails Zayn with a lariat. GUNTHER then avoids a Blue Thunder Bomb. Zayn tries the Blue Thunder Bomb once again, but GUNTHER reverses it into a rear naked choke.

Zayn then gets to his feet and almost gets to the rope. GUNTHER then reverses the sleeper into a German suplex. GUNTHER then charges at Zayn, but Zayn hits an exploder suplex on GUNTHER into the corner. Zayn then goes for the Helluva Kick, but GUNTHER counters with a shotgun dropkick. GUNTHER then hits a Powerbomb on Zayn, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn then hits GUNTHER with a Helluva Kick, but GUNTHER kicks out. Zayn then goes for another Helluva Kick, but GUNTHER counters with a lariat. GUNTHER then hits a double powerbomb, but Zayn kicks out. GUNTHER then confronts Zayn’s wife and stomps on Zayn and Zayn is barely moving.

Zayn then gets to his feet. GUNTHER then hits another lariat and yells at Zayn’s wife. GUNTHER then hits a Powerbomb on Zayn and immediately stares down and laughs at Zayn’s wife again. GUNTHER then hits Zayn with a splash from the top rope, but doesn’t cover Zayn. GUNTHER then laughs again as he goes back up top. GUNTHER then hits a splash on Zayn, but Zayn fires himself up as GUNTHER heads to the top again. Zayn then hits the Helluva Kick on GUNTHER followed by a Brain Buster. GUNTHER then crawls to the corner. Zayn then hits GUNTHER with another Helluva Kick, but GUNTHER doesn’t go down. Zayn then hits GUNTHER with yet another Helluva Kick and gets the win.

The winner of the match and new WWE Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn!

After the match, Sami Zayn makes his way to his wife and hugs her. Zayn then kisses his wife, raises up the Intercontinental Championship and celebrates in the ring.

We then get a video about how great WrestleMania XL is. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then announces an attendance of 72,543 fans for WrestleMania XL Saturday.

George Kittle, Vanessa Hudgens, Wale and Druski were then shown at ringside. Jordan Burroughs was shown earlier as well. Commentary then runs down the card for WrestleMania XL Sunday. We then get a video package for the main event, which is a tag team match.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is the biggest tag team match in the history of WrestleMania.

Tag Team Match: The Bloodline (“The Final Boss” The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns) vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The match starts off with all four men staring each other down. Rollins and Reigns then trade headlocks. After a stalemate, Rollins delivers a boot to Reigns’ gut. Rollins then tags Rhodes in. Reigns and Rollins then circle each other. Rhodes then delivers a few strikes on Reigns. Reigns then hits a clothesline on Rhodes in the corner. Rhodes and Reigns then have a test of strength. Rhodes then tags Rollins in. Rock then asks for a tag and Reigns obliges. Rollins then laughs as both men circle each other. Rollins and Rock then lock up. Rock then tosses Rollins clear across the ring. Rollins then mocks Rock. Rock then nails Rollins. Rock then stomps Rollins and tells Rhodes to just bring it. Rhodes then tags in. Rock and Rhodes then have a stare-down. Rhodes then hits Rock with a dropdown uppercut. Rhodes then stomps Rock in the corner. Rollins and Rhodes then double-team Rock. Reigns then enters the ring and gets hit with a sling blade from Rollins.

All four men then brawl and the fight spills out of the ring. Rock then slams Rollins onto the barricade as Rhodes and Reigns fight up the ramp. The referee then starts the count. The Rock then tells the referee, “Do you know who I am? If you count, you are f***ing fired.” Rhodes then suplexes Reigns on the stage. Rock then hits Rhodes with a trashcan in the crowd. All four men then make their way back to the ring and Reigns hits a chop block on Rollins’ surgically repaired knee on the apron. Rock and Rollins are then left in the ring and Reigns and Rock works over Rollins, focusing on his injured knee.

Rock then puts Rollins in the sharpshooter, but Rhodes breaks it up by slapping The Rock. Rock then charges at Rhodes, but Rhodes stuns Rock on the top rope. Rollins then hits a stomp on the Rock. Rollins then tags Rhodes in and Rhodes clears the ring. Reigns is then tagged in and he gets powerslammed by Rhodes. Rhodes then hits the Cody Cutter on Reigns, but Reigns counters the Crossroads and hits Cody with a Superman Punch. Rhodes then kicks out and Reigns calls for the Spear. Rhodes then reverses it into a sunset flip. Rhodes then hits a super Cody Cutter on Reigns. Rollins then tags in and hits a frog splash on Reigns, but Reigns kicks out.

Reigns then reverses the Stomp into a powerbomb. Rhodes and Rollins then hit multiple superkicks on Reigns. Rollins then hits the Stomp on Reigns. Rhodes then hits Reigns with Crossroads. As Rhodes is pinning Reigns, Rock pulls the referee out of the ring and hits the referee. Reigns then hits a low blow on Rhodes followed by the Spear, but Rhodes kicks out. Reigns then puts Rhodes in the guillotine. Rock then holds Rhodes’ legs as Reigns chokes him out.

Rollins then hits a Stomp on Reigns out of nowhere. Rock then pulls out the Mama Rhodes blood-soaked weight belt. Rock then jaws with Mama Rhodes. Rock then hits the spinebuster on Rhodes. Rock then goes for the People’s Elbow, but Rhodes counters with a Cody Cutter. Rhodes then goes for the Crossroads, but Reigns breaks it up with a Superman Punch. Reigns then goes for the Spear, but Rollins pulls Rhodes out of the way and Reigns accidentally Spears The Rock. Rollins and Rhodes then hit stereo Pedigrees on Rock and Reigns, but Rock and Reigns both kick out. All four men then brawl again and everyone ends up outside the ring.

As The Rock slams Rhodes on the announce desk, he yells at Mama Rhodes to look at her son. The Rock then goes for a Rock Bottom on the desk. Rollins then distracts Rock and Rhodes hits the Rock Bottom on The Rock through the desk. Reigns then Spears Rollins through the barricade. Reigns and Rhodes then trade strikes and Rhodes hits two Crossroads on Reigns. As he goes for a third, Rhodes is hit by the Rock with the weight belt. Reigns then Spears Rhodes. Rock then asks for a tag and Reigns obliges. Rock then hits the Rockbottom on Rhodes and follows it up with the People’s Elbow for the win.

After the match, Corey Graves says it was time for Cody Rhodes to find a new story to finish because Sunday night will not be Cody’s night. Michael Cole then says it will be Bloodline Rules and Cody will not be finishing the story. Cole then says Rollins was still down on the floor. Rollins was then shown crawling. Rock and Reigns then did their handshake. Rock and Reigns then held up their respective belts while Heyman stood behind them on the ramp and then pyro shot off on the stage. Cole then closed things out while Cody and Rollins were kneeling inside the ring. A video package then played recapping WrestleMania XL Saturday as the show came to a close.
