Jack Perry’s unexpected appearance in NJPW last month ignited excitement among AEW enthusiasts and heightened anticipation for his upcoming wrestling debut with NJPW on March 6th. He made news again after CM Punk’s recent interview and Perry now claims all people can talk about is him.

At NJPW Sakura Genesis, Jack Perry partnered with Ren Narita in a tag team match against Jon Moxley and Shota Umino, ending in defeat for Perry and Narita. Perry’s involvement with NJPW dates back to January when he made a surprise appearance at NJPW Battle in the Valley, tearing up his AEW contract in the process. Perry has asserted that he requested his release from AEW, but his request was denied.

Jack Perry returned to the spotlight this week following CM Punk’s interview on the MMA Hour. During the interview, Punk recounted an incident involving Perry at AEW All In, which resulted in Punk being terminated by AEW and Perry facing suspension.

Jack Perry expressed frustration in backstage comments at NJPW Sakura Genesis but then claimed that despite all the amazing things in pro wrestling now, all people can talk about is him.
