The Rock might be one of the biggest Superstars in WWE history, but he is currently considered pro wrestling’s biggest nuisance after what transpired on SmakDown this week. Now it appears he thanked Cody Rhodes after taking his WrestleMania 40 spot.

This week on SmackDown, The Rock confronted Roman Reigns following Cody Rhodes’ announcement that he won’t be facing Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The decision elicited mixed reactions from fans.

There has been a lot of widespread backlash following this move, as fans rallied for The Rock to give Cody Rhodes his WrestleMania 40 spot back as well. The Rock took to Twitter and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming reaction in Birmingham, Alabama, calling it “undeniable.” He acknowledged the timeless connection with the fans, describing it as an electrifying experience that transcends eras and locations.

The Rock thanked Birmingham, WWE, and Cody for the love and the venue. The message concluded with a reference to Roman Reigns for good measure.

‘There’s a word for this explosive, insane reaction – undeniable.
No matter the era, the decade, or the city, the energy and connection between the People’s Champ and the People can never be broken and is truly an electrifying experience that creates chills every single time.

“Thank you Birmingham, Alabama, we made magical history in the “magic city”. Thank you WWE and thank you Cody for the love and the house (dream & soulman).”

Roman, there’s only one head of the table. I’ll see you in Vegas…Uso.”

The Rock also got booed heavily during recent WWE live event. He is also pushing to beat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Only time will tell whether the match will turn out to be worth watching in the end.
