The Rock might be one of the biggest Superstars in WWE history, but he is currently marked as public enemy #1 after what transpired on SmakDown this week. Now it appears he is pushing to win at WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns.

The Rock confronted Roman Reigns on SmackDown this week after Cody Rhodes confirmed he won’t face Reigns at WrestleMania 40. This decision was met with a lot of mixed reactions as well.

We have reported that Roman Reigns vs The Rock was inevitable despite any potential injuries. Even WWE’s reasoning behind The Rock squaring off against Roman Reigns was revealed.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, talent mentioned that The Rock had not only advocated for working the match against Roman Reigns, but some believed he was even pushing to win the match.

The Rock also wanted to save WrestleMania 40 with the Roman Reigns match. It remains to be seen how the match will be received by fans once WrestleMania 40 is upon us.
