Tony Khan Reveals Conversations with Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone has been out of action due to a broken ankle injury but that’s about to change in good time. Many have speculated that Mercedes Mone could make her way to AEW and now he has confirmed he has spoken to Mercedes Mone.

Mercedes Mone underwent surgery for the injury and has since been recuperating. In the meantime, she was in attendance for AEW All In at Wembley Stadium back in August. Many are convinced she will make her way to AEW soon enough.

While speaking at the AEW Full Gear press conference, Tony Khan was asked about Mercedes Mone signing with AEW. Tony Khan confirmed that he had talks with Mone and that she is welcome in AEW.

“I have a lot of respect for Mercedes Mone. We would love to have her at anytime in AEW. She’s had great experience with our partner NJPW. She would be a great addition to AEW anytime . I have great respect for her and have had great conversations with her. I think the world of her.“

Mercedes Mone confirmed she will be in pro wrestling company next year. We’ll have to wait and see where she will end up next, as AEW is a viable place for her.
