Tony Khan didn’t waste any time pushing AEW after WrestleMania 42 Night One went off the air in Las Vegas.
Within minutes of WWE wrapping up Night One at Allegiant Stadium, the AEW President jumped on X to promote next week’s episode of Dynamite. The timing stood out right away, since fans had just finished watching WWE’s biggest show of the year when Khan posted his message. Khan used the post to remind fans when and where to watch AEW’s next show.
“AEW is where the best wrestle! This week, don’t miss Wednesday Night Dynamite, live nationwide 8e/7c/6m/5p, early 5pm start time on the west coast this week! Thank you all who watch AEW! See you at Dynamite this Wednesday night!”
This week’s AEW Dynamite is already shaping up with several matches announced.
Darby Allin won the AEW World Championship from MJF at the Spring BreakThru special on April 15. Tommaso Ciampa stepped up as the next challenger later that same night, setting up Allin’s first title defense.
Khan’s quick post made it clear that AEW is looking to grab attention during WrestleMania weekend, keeping the spotlight on their next show while fans are still talking about WWE.
Do you think Tony Khan posting about AEW Dynamite right after WrestleMania Night One ended was a smart move, or did it come off as trying too hard to grab attention?
