Mercedes Mone left WWE, and that meant that the pro wrestling world was open for her. Now, fans are waiting for her return from injury, and they might only have to wait a couple more months.
It doesn’t appear that Mercedes Mone’s ankle situation will clear up in 2023. That opens 2024 up for her return to the ring, and she confirmed this much during a recent personalized video.
Mercedes Mone just did a fan video for Cameo, where she provided a bit of an update on her status. She said that this fan should expect to see her in “some wrestling company in 2024.” That being said, she didn’t specify where she will wrestle for next.
“I cannot wait to be back in the ring. Expect me to return with some wrestling company in 2024. For sure, I cannot wait to be back in the squared circle.”
“It’s where I feel the most home. It’s where I feel alive. I just can’t wait to be back. I’ve been healing everything: mentally, physically, spiritually, physically, everything.”
“I’m really excited to get back to where I live and what I do best,”
Mercedes Mone has a ton of fans who would love to see her wrestle again. She might be able to shake up the AEW women’s roster, and that stands true for any locker room she might venture into.
