CJ Perry finally arrived in AEW, and that was a long time coming. Although fans expected her to end up in AEW eventually, this was something that Miro was apparently working on for years.

For years, Miro had hinted at his wife’s attractiveness and flexibility on AEW programs. CJ Perry made her AEW debut at AEW All Out 2022 in an attempt to assist Miro and protect him from Powerhouse Hobbs.

Now, CJ Perry is discussing her debut. She said that joining All Elite Wrestling had always been a topic of conversation, but the timing was a crucial factor since she had been occupied with other projects.

While speaking to Fightful, CJ Perry said that her AEW debut was two years in the making. They had to wait on some scheduling conflicts to clear up, but her AEW debut was something that Miro has been working on since he first mentioned his “Hot and Flexible” wife.

“The time is now. Well, definitely subscribe to CJPerry.com so you can get the full tea, all of it. I think it was a timing thing. This was always a discussion. Miro’s been plotting this out for a really long time, talking about his Hot & Flexible wife, for probably two years now and wanting to bring me in.”

“It was just a timing thing. I had a lot of other things going on, a couple of different projects. It was just figuring out the timing and the timing was right. All of it was his idea, to be honest. All of it was his idea. I’m just hired talent right now.”

WWE fans saw Miro and Lana get involved in a lot of stories during their time in the company. Vince McMahon tried to break them up, and they even teased a strange proclamation of love with Liv Morgan, but as Ringside News exclusively reported in 2020, they never paid that off either.

We will have to see what’s next for CJ Perry in AEW. It seems that Miro will destroy every client she gets at this point, and Action Andretti is his first victim. Those two are set for singles match on Collision this week, and Perry is expected to be in Andretti’s corner.
