WWE fans in Denver were not expecting to see The Rock on SmackDown this week, but The Great One was in the building. That was quite a shock, but it was just a one-off appearance for now. The People’s Champion was still blown away by that reaction.

WWE fans had a blast with The Rock. That chant he led the crowd in even needed to be censored, or FOX could have faced a stiff FCC fine.

The Rock posted on X to reveal his inner thoughts after SmackDown. He had a few days to let things digest, and he was even blown away by his response still. Obviously, this was a moment that he will never forget.

I was – I’m still – completely blown away by this crowd reaction in Denver this past Friday night on SMACKDOWN.

My appearance was a 100% surprise to everyone and this crowd of 14,000 erupted with the roar of 100,000 strong.

Top 5 loudest crowd reaction of my career

(which I was like “holy shit” when I walked out

) I’m so grateful and humbled by this. I never take it for granted and “coming home” will always be sacred to me. Thank you my guy PatMac, the talented Austin Theory,

@wwe family backstage, Team Rock behind the scenes – everyone who joined us to go ALL IN. But most importantly, thank you with all my love, gratitude and respect, to THE PEOPLE. Our connection is real. Electrifying. ~ people’s champ

The Rock certainly made a lot of memories in Denver for SmackDown. He even took the opportunity to snap photo with one lucky fan at ringside.

The Rock’s return to WWE for one night brought a lot of attention. That video went viral, and it’s still climbing in viewership.Hopefully, The Rock doesn’t wait so long to make his return to WWE television again.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE did not time out The Rock’s segment on SmackDown this week. That caused them to have to edit few segments later on in the show. We also exclusively reported on some big reasons that might fuel his in-ring comeback.

With the TKO Holdings Group starting after the UFC merger was complete, that could open the door for more big money deals. After all, The Rock did schedule a meeting to have talks about storyline options down the line before he left.
