The Rock returned to WWE for SmackDown this week. That might have been a one-off appearance, but it’s always great to have the People’s Champion back whenever he can find the time.

WWE uploaded a video of The Rock meeting with a young fan at ringside during SmackDown. That young fan might have been wearing John Cena merchandise, but Dwayne Johnson made his night in a big way.
“The Rock made sure it was an electrifying night for this young fan!”
The Rock’s WWE SmackDown return generated big attention on social media. The Rock has received challenge since that night as well. Only time will tell if he accepts that match.
It was reported that The Rock and WWE discussed having a meeting to set up stories for his return. We can only hope that The Rock’s SmackDown appearance in Denver was memorable enough for him to make a comeback.
Ringsdie News exclusively reported that WWE didn’t plan for The Rock’s appearance very well in terms of timing. Cuts were made to the rest of the show, but it was worth it because of the response Dwayne Johnson received.
