Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock was lock for WrestleMania. He then confirmed this on the Pat McAfee show this week. We will have to see if they can work something out for WrestleMania 40, but The Rock is open to the idea of having that match against Roman Reigns.

The Rock’s return to WWE generated a ton of attention, and he didn’t even have a match. That being said, Dwayne Johnson is very busy, and he doesn’t want to make a return to WWE for a match unless everything is perfect.

WWE and The Rock are going to apparently sit down once again and hash things out. Hopefully, they can make something work that will actually play out on television instead of fizzling after a handshake deal.
