WWE Superstars need to communicate with each other outside the pro wrestling world. Sometimes, this means they use apps that a lot of fans might already have on their phones. Now it seems that we know the name of one chat group that they use.

If you’ve ever wondered if a particular group of WWE stars has a WhatsApp group chat and what they call it, today is the day when your curiosity will be satisfied. WhatsApp is a very popular social media app, and WWE Superstars also use it in their own way.

In a recent article by Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who both hail from Scotland, were interviewed about representing their country in WWE. Among the interesting details shared in the article was the revelation that the Scottish wrestlers in WWE have their own WhatsApp group chat, named “Freedom” as a nod to the iconic movie Braveheart. That name was very appropriate, as a lot of people would agree.

Isla Dawn talked to the publication about this WWE story, and in the process, she also dropped the name of their WhatsApp group.

“There are now so many Scots wrestling for WWE that they’ve got their own WhatsApp group chat – with the Braveheart-inspired name ‘Freedom’.”

“We weren’t all best mates and hung out all the time, but we all really supported each other and we would give feedback to each other constantly.

“We’re like a wee gang that push each other to be better. I’ve come back from a match and the Scottish boys have said ‘ah that wasn’t your best’ and they’ll give you the hard truth and it makes me better.

“We’ve got a wee community supporting each other, and now we’re all in America, having fun!”

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are gearing up for a huge title unification match against NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on the June 23rd episode of SmackDown. That match will see big shift in the tag team division for women in WWE.

We will have to see how WWE books this big mach. Obviously, it will change a lot for WWE’s Women’s Division. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates.
