Former NXT Standout Tiffany Stratton joined the SmackDown roster earlier this year, signaling WWE’s significant plans for the young prospect. However, The Center of the Universe is currently facing major backlash due to a controversial video involving Jade Cargill.

The King and Queen of The Ring premium live event is set for May 25th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the quarterfinals of the tournaments underway. Tiffany Stratton earned her spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Candice LeRae last week and is now scheduled to face Cargill’s partner and fellow WWE Women’s tag team champion, Bianca Belair on SmackDown this week.

Controversy erupted when Tiffy Time posted a now-deleted video on her Instagram story. In the video, she slapped Jade Cargill while a voiceover said “Black bi***,” with Bianca Belair watching and laughing emojis added. Fans quickly noticed the racist undertones, leading to widespread criticism. In response to the backlash, Stratton eventually took down the video.

Despite the angle becoming a huge controversy, a new report by PWInsider dispels a rumor that Tiffany Stratton’s match on WWE SmackDown had been pulled due to the video. According to them, the match is still scheduled, and there has been no change in plans.

Moreover, several sources indicated that Tiffany Stratton is not facing any internal trouble and has received unanimous praise from management and other talents since joining the roster. Her status within the company remains unchanged, and she continues to be on good footing.

However, the incident is unfortunate, regardless of Stratton’s intentions, as the content of the video was undeniably racist. So we will have to wait and see what happens next in regards to the same.
