Sabu is a former ECW World Champion and ECW Tag Team Champion and became one of the biggest names in the world of hardcore wrestling, being immortalized in the annals of pro wrestling history. That said, he is simply not as young as he used to be and can’t compete at the same level anymore. Even then, it appears he wants to square off against Brock Lesnar in his final match.

Sabu sacrificed his body for pro wrestling throughout his entire career. He was known as the suicidal, homicidal, and genocidal maniac for a reason. Being 58 years old, his body simply cannot take any abuse anymore.

It doesn’t help that Sabu had a medical emergency and had to be rushed to the hospital earlier this year. In addition to that, Sabu previously stated that he can’t stand up straight anymore due to broken back.

While speaking during a Golden Ring Collectibles signing, Sabu revealed that he would love to square off against Brock Lesnar in his final match. Sabu then explained why Lesnar would be a great fit for him.

“I’d like to have a match with Brock Lesnar, though. If it’s going to be an actual final match and I’m not going to wrestle no more, I’d like it to be against Brock Lesnar,.

He’d be my perfect opponent because he does stuff I don’t do and I do stuff that he doesn’t do.”

Sabu made it clear that he doesn’t rule out wrestling again if the price is right. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Sabu will make his in-ring return somewhere down the line, as a match with Brock Lesar seems unlikely.
