There was a time when Drew McIntyre was struggling to get over, even having WWE suggest that he drop his accent. Thankfully, he carried on and became the former WWE Champion we know today. That being said, McIntyre might be on his way out of the company.

Drew McIntyre and WWE management are reportedly at odds with each other. He has yet to ink new deal, and his contract runs out at the end of this year. At this stage in the game, the Scottish Warrior’s WWE future is very much up in the air.

PW Insider included a bit of an update about Drew McIntyre. In a report about tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, it was noted that Drew McIntyre won’t be on this week’s show either.

No Drew McIntyre again for this week’s Raw.

Drew McIntyre has been advised to leave WWE for AEW. After all, Tony Khan would certainly be interested in having McIntyre work for him. The big question is whether WWE can offer McIntyre enough to stay.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Drew McIntyre was out of action with an injury. It was said to be minor, but no specific about what kind of injury he is dealing with was made known. Apparently, he will be back in a few weeks, but we are still waiting for that time to come.

Drew McIntyre was actually injured on the road to WrestleMania, but he worked that triple threat match against Sheamus and GUNTHER anyway. Now, we are waiting to see what’s next for Drew McIntyre as he continues to sit in a very interesting position.
