Guru Raaj’s departure from the WWE has been noted following recent updates on the company’s website. Once listed as an active NXT Superstar, Raaj has now been moved to the alumni section on WWE.com.

Raaj’s journey in WWE was part of a broader initiative to recruit Indian talent and engage with the Indian audience. Despite this, his tenure with WWE was relatively brief, with only 20 matches to his name. His last appearance occurred on the November 22, 2022, episode of WWE NXT, where he faced SCRYPTS in a match that lasted under 2 minutes.

While Raaj’s WWE career may have been short-lived, he did have a notable match at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in 2021. During this event, tailored specifically for the Indian audience, Raaj squared off against then-NXT Champion Finn Balor in a singles match.

As of now, WWE has not released an official statement regarding Raaj’s departure from the company. Nevertheless, his time in WWE, albeit brief, contributed to the company’s efforts to expand its global reach and connect with audiences worldwide.
