Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania, but there’s a very good reason for that. McIntyre was injured on the road to WrestleMania, and he competed on that injury anyway. His current contract situation is also a matter of discussion.

WWE and Drew McIntyre have not come to terms on a new deal. His contract is up at the end of 2023, so there’s still time. That being said, nobody is 100% certain about his future with the company at this time.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter dropped a small update about Drew McIntyre’s situation this week. He is still injured, so it will be a few more weeks until he’s ready to make a return to the ring. That being said, his current contract situation is still undecided.

We’re hoping that Drew McIntyre is able to make his way back to the ring very soon. His current contract situation could also play into things, because WWE doesn’t want to give a huge push to someone who might be out of the company by the end of the year.

Drew McIntyre has a couple of obvious options right now, but we have no idea which one he is leaning toward the most. We will have to keep a close eye on his situation to see if anything happens, because plenty of fans care about where the Scottish Warrior is going next.

What’s your take on Drew McIntyre’s current contract status? Would you re-sign with WWE if you were him? Sound off in the comments!
