Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was compared to a hostage situation, as he held the company’s pending television rights deals over their head as majority shareholder. Now that Vince McMahon is back in WWE, and a merger with UFC is on the way, he can contribute as he sees fit once again.

Ringside News reached out to confirm Vince McMahon’s involvement in this week’s programming. He was not around for RAW or SmackDown this week, but that’s not to say Triple H ran the entire show without his father-in-law’s input.

We were told by a tenured member of the creative team that Vince McMahon was not at television this week, but he “shared his thoughts regarding the shows.” It was noted what he changed about the shows, but it’s obvious that he still had his say in the matter.

WWE will always be Vince McMahon’s company as long as Endeavor keeps him in that position. There was also a reason why #FireVince trended like crazy on the week after WrestleMania, when his creative fingerprints were so apparent. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Endeavor is also very aware of this fact, but they also don’t want to ruin a billion-dollar deal.

Vince McMahon’s performance backstage during the RAW after WrestleMania did not go over well. He changed up the show in the middle of the broadcast, and chaos erupted. Some top WWE Superstars were also reportedly ready to put in their release requests.

Ringside News exclusively reported couple of weeks ago that Vince McMahon has had no say in the 2023 Draft at that time. Then again, it’s still his company, so Mr. McMahon could always swoop in whenever he wants and switch things up. We also exclusively reported that the 2023 WWE Draft had no bearing on Vince McMahon’s return to the company, or vice versa. We also exclusively reported that if Vince McMahon has any say in the 2023, then this is being kept as a secret from the creative team.

Triple H is WWE’s Chief Content Officer, and that is not likely to change any time soon. He has full support from WWE higher-ups, but that doesn’t mean Mr. McMahon is completely out of the creative picture.

Do you think Vince McMahon will eventually take over WWE creative once again? Is Triple H doing a good job? Sound off in the comments!
