WWE is holding another draft, and it will be here before we know it. The company has been talking about this draft for about a month now in the creative department, and that did not need Vince McMahon’s approval to get started at all.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon’s return to WWE had no bearing on the company holding a draft. This was going to happen with or without Mr. McMahon around.

We reached out to confirm Vince McMahon’s involvement in the draft process, and we are told that he hasn’t put his hands in the situation at all. In fact, a tenured member of creative informed us that Mr. McMahon, “has not offered any opinion on the draft.”

The WWE Draft is always an exciting time for fans, because you never know what can happen. Superstars typically don’t even know that their name will be called, because the company wants to capture organic reactions on live television.

We’ll have to see if reports come out around draft time that Vince McMahon walked in and switched everything around, but right now he is staying out of any discussion about the upcoming WWE Draft.

The WWE Draft is reportedly going to go down in Jacksonville on May 8th. That is quite a strategic location, considering how AEW’s home base is in that city, along with their pandemic home, Daily’s Place.
