During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk launched a blistering attack on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, which resulted in a considerable backlash and harm to his reputation within the company. The fallout from his harsh comments also sparked a violent altercation that only worsened the situation. While Punk remains on hiatus, it seems he told a fan that he will wrestle again just to upset them.

Since the All Out event, CM Punk has been absent from wrestling due to an injury to his triceps and underwent surgery to address it. He is currently recovering from his injury and has been making good progress in that regard. The fact that he was suspended also didn’t help him make a return to television.

It was previously reported that Chris Jericho told CM Punk that he was ‘a cancer’ for the AEW locker room and has been detrimental to the company. Even CM Punk decided to mock these rumors recently.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry recently refuted the idea that Punk was cancer to the AEW locker room. In the comments section of the aforesaid post, a fan commented, “Keep CM Punk retired.” CM Punk would then have a very bold reply for the fan.

CM Punk and The Elite have not mended fences while he remains on the shelf after suffering triceps injury. CM Punk could also return to AEW within the next couple of months. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what will become of CM Punk in the end.

We’ll have to see where CM Punk’s saga goes from here, but it will certainly be an interesting ride. In the meantime, keep it tuned right here at Ringside News.
