During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk unleashed scathing tirade against Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. His scathing remarks caused significant damage to his reputation within AEW and sparked a subsequent brawl that only exacerbated the situation. It seems CM Punk and The Elite haven’t mended fences after the brawl.

Since the All Out event, CM Punk has been absent from wrestling due to an injury to his triceps and underwent surgery to address it. He is currently recovering from his injury and has been making good progress in that regard.

As for The Elite, they have been regularly featured on AEW television as they are the Trios Tag Team Titles. That being said, The Elite and CM Punk haven’t really reached out to each other.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio today, Dave Meltzer noted that CM Punk and The Elite haven’t mended fences after the brawl.

A lot of damage done, there’s a lot of mending of fences that needs to be done, and there’s been no mending of fences. At all.

It’s a big situation, because Punk could be back in two months, then there’s a decision. That’s gonna be a big story, how that goes down, or doesn’t go down.”

CM Punk could also return to AEW within the next couple of months. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what will become of CM Punk in the end.
