WrestleMania is the pinnacle of every WWE Superstar’s career. WrestleMania is where titles change hands, feuds get settled and history is made. While the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Title matches have been announced, Bayley has a different type of match in mind for the grandest stage of them all.
Bayley joined Ariel Helwani in an interview for BT Sport where she discussed her decade run in WWE and the possible return of Sasha Banks to the WWE. At one point Bayley named WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Sasha Banks as dream opponents for the show of shows.
“My perfect scenario in all of WWE (history), WrestleMania is like me vs. Lita or me vs. Sasha.
“Right now, if I could pick someone/pick something, it’s Damage CTRL in a big match, you know? I think that would be very special to me.
“To share the ring with them, too, at WrestleMania, even if that were the end of it, if that was our last match together, that would make me so proud and so happy.”
In the same interview, Bayley voiced hopes for Sasha Banks’ return to the WWE. She believes that Banks would definitely return to the WWE because that’s where her home is.
Sasha Banks is currently enjoying her time as Mercedes Mone in the NJPW. She recently defeated KAIRI at the February 18 Battle in the Valley to become the second ever IWGP Women’s Champion.
Lita on the other hand made WWE comeback on the February 6 edition of WWE Raw, helping Becky Lynch to defeat Bayley in their steel cage match. It remains to be seen if Lita and Bayley face off at WrestleMania 39. For more updates stay tuned to Ringside News.
