Sasha Banks is widely recognized as one of the most outstanding female professional wrestlers in the sport, with a long list of accomplishments to her credit. Recently, she made headlines when she departed from WWE’s RAW brand, generating significant media attention and sparking widespread speculation and gossip. She eventually debuted in NJPW and finally challenged for the IWGP Women’s Championship today. In fact, she even won the match and became the new champion.

Sasha Banks had a noteworthy debut in NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 17, assuming the charismatic persona of “The CEO” Mercedes Mone. Her arrival on the stage came right after KAIRI’s successful title defense against Tam Nakano.

It was then made official that Mone would challenge KAIRI for the title at NJPW Battle in the Valley in San Jose on February 18. As such, she finally challenged KAIRI for the title tonight.

It was a hard-fought battle as each competitor gave it their all. In the end, Mercedes Mone hit the Mone Maker on KAIRI for the win. Thus, she became the new IWGP Women’s Champion.
