Roxanne Perez may have entered the Women’s Money in the Bank match with plenty of momentum, but a new backstage report suggests WWE has been thinking about her as the winner for much longer than fans may have realized.

Speaking during a Self Made Session, Self Made Pro revealed that Perez was heavily involved in internal discussions about the Women’s Money in the Bank winner several months ago and remains the favorite in his eyes.

“Roxanne Perez is probably going to win this match. And I know that months ago, when they were having conversations about Women’s Money in the Bank, the conversations involved Roxanne Perez heavily.”

Perez officially punched her ticket to the ladder match after defeating IYO SKY and La Catalina in a Triple Threat qualifier on the September 21 edition of RAW. She capitalized on the perfect opportunity, hitting Pop Rox on IYO after a moonsault to Catalina to steal the win.

The 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match features Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Lash Legend and Jacy Jayne, with the winner earning a guaranteed Women’s Championship match at any point over the next year.

Of course, creative plans can always change, especially with several top stars still competing in the match. Whether WWE sticks with those reported plans remains to be seen, but if the backstage discussions haven’t changed much over the past few months, Perez could be Miss Money in the Bank.
