CM Punk lost the AEW Undisputed World Championship match to Jon Moxley two weeks on Dynamite. Punk was convinced by Ace Steel to run it back with Mox for the title. Tonight, he finally got his revenge.

Punk and Moxley squared off for the AEW World Championship in the main event of All Out. The Second City Saint entered the match with the sole purpose of taking back the title from Mox.

The two performers beat the life out of each other and bled buckets in the process. The closing moments of the match saw Punk hit back-to-back GTS on Mox for the win.

Punk had originally won the AEW World Championship from Adam Page at Double or Nothing. Unfortunately, Punk broke his foot on June 1, 2022, and had to take a break from in-ring competition.

Tony Khan booked Jox Moxley versus Hiroshi Tanahashi to determine the AEW Interim World Champion at Forbidden Door. Mox won the match against the Ace that night,
