AEW World Champion Adam Page put his title on the line against CM Punk at DoN. The “Hangman” had promised to defend not the AEW World Championship but the company itself from the “Best in the World.”

Punk, on the other hand, claimed it was never personal but only business between him and Page. The “Second City Saint” had successfully managed to get in the champion’s head.

In the end, Punk countered a Buckshot Lariat into a GTS to win the title. This is Punk’s first singles title win in the promotion. This was also the only title change that took place at Double or Nothing 2022.

AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express, Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa, and TBS Champion Jade Cargill all had successful title defenses earlier during the night. The event concluded with CM Punk celebrating with his new title as the Las Vegas crowd cheered on.
