Kenny Omega gained recognition for his spectacular matches against the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The Cleaner left Japan’s top wrestling promotion and co-founded All Elite Wrestling in the states.

Omega won the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley on the Winter Is coming special edition of Dynamite on December 2nd, 2020. He dropped the title to Adam Page at Full Gear on November 13, 2021.

The Cleaner worked through multiple injuries until they caught up to him. He took break from in-ring action to rest and recuperate. Kenny Omega finally returned to in-ring action during Dynamite this week.

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion was revealed as The Young Bucks’ mystery partner in the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship Tournament quarterfinals on Dynamite this week. It turns out that is exactly what happened.

The Elite squared off against Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The tournament finals will take place at All Out on September 4th, 2022. This was quite an ovation as Omega made his return to the ring with Don Callis by his side.
