Ric Flair has accomplished many things in his illustrious pro wrestling career. Flair has still managed to become a controversial figure despite all he has accomplished. He is also determined to bleed in his final match.

Flair will make his return on July 31st for one more bout. The match will be held as part of the huge Starrcast wrestling convention. Flair will team up with Andrade El Idolo and face Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in a traditional tag team match. Fans should expect blood, because The Nature Boy has made that a calling card of his throughout the years.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Ric Flair made it obvious that he will bleed in the final match of his career, no matter what. That might put some squeamish fans off, but those who remember his bloody battles from yesteryear could be struck with some major nostalgia.

“I know people think all I have to do is get in the ring and strut around and go ‘wooo’ and do this [holds hand up to forehead]. I’ve got to give them a lot more than that to satisfy myself and to have you guys saying on Monday, ‘Holy sh*t. What the hell just happened? How can that guy be 73?’ That’s my goal right now. On Monday morning for you guys to be going, ‘What the sh*t. How did he ever pull that off?’ Brother, I’ll have one [a blade] tied to my finger a mile long. [Makes blading gesture]. When all else fails [laughs]. I’ll take a lot of pressure off of myself the minute I get to that. For years, I couldn’t work without it.”

Ric Flair has also been drinking every night before his final match. We will have to wait and see whether The Nature Boy will don the crimson mask or not in the final match of his illustrious career. Odds are that fans are in for quite a bloody show.
