Conrad Thompson will be bringing back the popular Starrcast wrestling convention this summer. It will be the first time Thompson’s event coincides with a WWE show. The four previous Starrcasts took place in the same city as major AEW shows.

There has not been a Starrcast since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The most recent convention took place in Baltimore, Maryland during the same weekend as AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view in 2019. This year’s event will coincide with the huge WWE SummerSlam weekend in Nashville.

The venue is familiar as well. Sports Illustrated initially reported that the convention will take place from July 29 through the 31st at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling have all previously held events at the venue.

Conrad Thompson said the event will have some new twists that fans will enjoy. The huge WWE stadium show next door should offer plenty of potential patrons for the revived event. There should be something for every wrestling fan.

Starrcast will stream the event through a partnership with Thuzio, the owners of Fite TV. The event organizers are hoping to give fans a special experience. Fans who are interested in pre-registering for tickets can do so through their official website.
