Ciampa used to be a mainstay in Triple H’s version of NXT. Ciampa accomplished everything he could on the black and gold brand. He made his Raw debut on April 11 as a face but turned heel in the following weeks.

Ciampa finally formed an alliance with The Miz on Raw this week. The A-lister squared off against AJ Styles on this week’s episode of Raw. Style won the match after hitting a Phenomenal Forearm on The Miz.
Ciampa attacked Styles from behind after the match. Styles was able to fight back but couldn’t hit a Styles Clash on the former NXT Champion due to The Miz, who put him down with a Skull Crushing Finale.
Ciampa and The Miz stood tall over a fallen Styles. The Miz extended his hand towards Ciampa who shook it after some hesitation. Ciampa had been teasing partnership with The Miz since April.
