Welcome to Ringside News’ live results, highlights, winners and reactions for the July 4th, 2022 episode of WWE RAW.

Start time for tonight’s show is 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page, so you should update frequently to get the latest happenings. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s RAW happens to take place on Independence Day, and starts the build towards SummerSlam next month. Not only that, but it will also feature all of the fallout from WWE Money In The Bank. Theory lost his United States Championship to Bobby Lashley, but then won the briefcase later in the night. Liv Morgan also won the briefcase, but she’s moved over to SmackDown after cashing-in on Ronda Rousey. Expect Theory to start teasing a cash-in at SummerSlam.

As for the rest, The Uso’s retained in a barn-burner match with the Street Profits but the result was questionable and so it seems like they’re going to run it back, and Bianca Belair also retained her title over Carmella. We don’t know what tonight’s RAW has in store – WWE hasn’t announced anything – but it should be a decent show considering all that’s happened and coming up in the near future.

RAW

Monday Night RAW opens with a video package celebrating the 4th of July. Kevin Patrick has joined the announce team because Jimmy Smith is on vacation.

It is announced that the Mysterio’s will face The Judgement Day tonight, Becky Lynch and Asuka will do battle in a No Holds Barred match, The Street Profits team with Bobby Lashley to face Alpha Academy and Theory, while Liv Mogan is on hand to celebrate her huge title win after cashing-in the Money In The Bank. The new United States Champion, Bobby Lashley, makes his way to the ring.

Lashley welcomes us to the show and receives a huge “Bobby” chant. He says Independence Day holds a special place in his heart and he couldn’t be more proud to be standing here as the new United States Champion. But it’s not the title that makes the man, it’s the man that makes the title and there is not another man in the division, “or any other promotion“, that could beat him for that title.

Mr. Money In The Bank, Theory, comes out. He ask why Lashley gets to start RAW, considering everyone has been waiting to hear from him. He says Lashley got his victory but the world is talking about the youngest Mr. Money In The Bank in WWE history. And he had the odds stacked against him, it was hard work. “You suck” chant from the crowd. Theory says he was up against the best-of-the-best but, just like Michael Jordan, he came through in the clutch.

Lashley says Theory only got into the Money In The Bank match because he shattered his ego into a million pieces. But if he wants another trip to the Hurt Lock he can do it. Theory backs-up and says Lashley can try and fail at that later. He says he’s going straight to the top thanks to his briefcase. And he was informed today that he’s getting a rematch against Lashley at SummerSlam.

Theory says he plans on winning both the U.S Championship and the Undisputed Universal Championship to become the Unified Undisputed WWE Universal and United States Champion. Lashley says that’s if he can make it to SummerSlam, and the fans in San Diego deserve some fireworks. Theory throws the briefcase and Lashley catches it, then Theory hits him. Theory beats Lashley with the briefcase repeatedly until Bobby shoves him back, then hits a huge spinebuster. Theory retreats, furious.
