Maki Itoh Could Be Joker Entry In AEW Owen Hart Women’s Tournament

Maki Itoh had a short run in AEW back in March 2021 and fans enjoyed so much about her. After a long absence, Itoh might just be returning to AEW sooner than later.

Following her brief run, Itoh had to return to Japan and leave AEW. Fans weren’t happy about that at all and since then, they have wondered when the Japanese star would return to AEW.

Itoh previously promised that she would make her return to AEW. Itoh recently took to Twitter and stated that her next match will be in the US. This made fans speculate that Itoh could be Britt Baker’s mystery opponent in the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal Match.

Kris Statlander vs Red Velvet and Britt Baker vs a mystery opponent are the two Owen Hart Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal matches for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We will have to see whether Itoh does return to AEW or not. Fans would love nothing more than to see her again.
